Terms of Service

Provider and scope

The IT Lead is operated by Max Benz, Am hohen Stein 36a, 01189 Dresden, Germany. These terms apply to the use of the service at theitlead.com. The service is offered to businesses only. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business.

The service

The IT Lead records service account ownership and review decisions that you enter or import. It does not connect to your directory, does not verify what you enter and does not provide legal or compliance advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you import and for deciding which accounts to keep.

Plans and billing

Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Plans are charged monthly in advance via Stripe, and taxes are calculated at checkout. A promotion code entered at Stripe Checkout applies the conditions shown on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime in the billing portal and keep access until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid for a running period are not refunded.

Plan limits

Each plan has limits on service accounts and workspace members as shown on the pricing page. The service rejects additions beyond the limit of your plan.

Acceptable use

You may only add personal data of colleagues and contacts that you are allowed to process, and only send review requests to people who are responsible for the accounts in question. You must not attempt to access other workspaces, disrupt the service or store passwords, API keys or tokens in the service.

Data protection

For owner contact data that you enter, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf to provide the service. Details are in the privacy policy. On request we provide a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change features with reasonable notice if the change affects a core function you pay for.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability for lost profit and indirect damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You can cancel the subscription anytime and delete your workspace. We may suspend access for serious breaches of these terms. After termination we delete workspace data as described in the privacy policy.

Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Dresden, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
